2013 SYMPOSIUM: "DISCRETION & DEFERENCE: IMMIGRANTS, CITIZENS, AND THE LAW"
About the Symposium
On Thursday and Friday, January 24 and 25, the BYU Law School community will have the privilege of hearing from speakers and panelists at the 2013 Law Review Symposium, titled “Discretion & Deference: Immigrants, Citizens, and the Law.” Presenters include immigration law scholars from universities across the country. Professor Daniel Hopkins from Georgetown University will give the keynote address: “The Hidden American Immigration Consensus.”
Other speakers and panelists will discuss topics such as "Crimmigration," "Defining Membership," "Federalism and Discretion," and "Historical Perspectives."
